Skin Resurfacing

Sometimes, throughout the course of our skincare journey, we need a reset, that is when we search for skin resurfacing options. Skin resurfacing refers to in-office, nonsurgical procedures that trigger the body’s healing response using RF microneedling and medical grade skincare products. Skin resurfacing procedures even skin tone, improve skin texture, and address sun damage.

At Kinetic Clinic, we offer professional facials, RF microneedling and medical-grade skincare products. These procedures work to improve skin pigment, texture, fine lines and wrinkles – without harsh injury to the skin’s surface.

The skin undergoes change from stress, hormones, and exposure to the outer elements – sun and pollution. These stressors can make the skin look dull and less radiant by emphasizing fine lines and acne scars. Skin resurfacing treatments can help to smooth, tighten and brighten the skin, and bring back that youthful glow.

What is Skin Resurfacing?

Skin resurfacing is a nonsurgical, in-office facial rejuvenation procedure achieved with devices or professional facials to the skin to treat fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, age spots, acne scars, dark circles, crepey skin, and dullness. The procedure causes microdamage and triggers the body’s healing response to activate elastin, collagen and new skin. The treatments can be paired together, such as morpheus8 the microneedling, to yield even more amazing results to achieve glowing, youthful skin.

  • At Kinetic Clinic, we don’t follow a one size fits all program. We believe in a comprehensive and sustainable treatment plan that is customized to each client to deliver beautiful outcomes.

    How does Skin Resurfacing work?

We offer medical-grade skincare products and RF Microneedling treatments to treat acne, melasma, sun damage, fine lines, texture roughness, large pores and dullness. The resurfacing laser uses energy to reveal smoother, baby-soft “fresh skin” by removing the damaged outer layers and encouraging cell renewal.

What are the benefits of Skin Resurfacing?

    • Treats brown spots, age spots, redness and discoloraion
    • Slow the effects of aging
    • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
    • Shrink enlarged pores
    • Restores Confidence
    • Tightens skin, improves elasticity

With skin resurfacing treatments, there is less downtime and excellent results.  Typically, clients initially need between 3 and 4 treatments, based on individual skin goals. Patient will usually continue to maintain their excellent results by continuing treatments once or twice annually. Even if you don’t have a serious skin concern, skin resurfacing treatments can be preventative. If you start early, you can keep your skin looking great for years to come.

How many sessions are needed for to see results?

As with many aesthetic procedures, consistent treatments can lead to better, longer-lasting results. However, for some patients, results are evident even after one skin resurfacing treatment. During your consultation, your provider will be able to put together a treatment plan and schedule that will best meet your needs, budget, and lifestyle.

    How can Skincare help?

Skincare is an investment, just like aesthetic injections and RF microneedling. We recommend that our clients protect their skin and investments in more invasive procedures by supplementing with our pharmaceutical grade skincare products.

    Contraindications?

Skin resurfacing is effective and suitable for all people who desire improvement on the surface of their skin. However, it is not a good option if you have recently had facial surgery or other recent facial procedures. It is also important to be cautious with specific skin conditions such as psoriasis. Therefore, initial consultation is required, during which the patient and provider will design a custom treatment plan.
